IN-TERIA

Mount Field

IN-TASMANIA

We enjoy visiting Mount Field National Park at least once or twice a year. During Autumn, the fagus puts on an incredible display of yellow, orange and red. We often enjoy a walk around Lake Dobson in the Winter.

This year, a big dump of snow in early Spring offered us a beautiful blue-sky day and a lot of fresh powder, and we ventured up past the Mount Mawson Ski Fields and part of the way around to Tarn Shelf.

A hot tip is to pick up lunch at the Agrarian Kitchen Kiosk on your way up — and BYO a thermos of hot chocolate and a sneaky Whisky (Tasmanian, of course).

What does this have to do with contemporary architectural hardware for modern homes? Well, actually, nothing but our island homes shapes who we are, and we love to explore all that she offers.
